RALPH WALDO EMERSON
I teach a blend of Yin Yang Yoga, Qigong and Myofascial Release (MFR). I believe that movement is medicine, but it is how you move that matters. I am also a strong advocate of active resting. In my classes, I encourage the breath to lead the movement, and I draw from nature and the five elements to weave together an anatomically safe and balanced practice. I have studied under and been mentored by renowned teachers such as Simon Low, Mimi Kuo Deemer and Tiffany Cruikshank.
I also offer crystal bowl sound baths which can either be stand-alone events or incorporated at the end of a Yoga/Qigong practice as an extended blissful savasana. It is believed that the frequencies of the singing bowls bring the brainwaves into more of a relaxed state, allowing our bodies and mind to come back to balance.
